Fixational Eye Movements and Visual Stabilization is an international symposium that will be held at the Nobel Forum of Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, on the 21st to 22nd of June, 2010.
The symposium is a part of Karolinska Institutet's bicentennial celebration as well as the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Sigvard and Marianne Bernadotte Research Foundation for Childrenīs Eyecare.
The aim of the symposium is to bring together the international expertise in the area of fixational eye movements and visual stabilization, both in health and disease. We strive to create a forum for lively discussions in a pleasant and scientifically stimulating environment.

The symposium will take place between the 21st and 22nd of June, 2010. Each speaker is invited to talk for 30 minutes on a topic of their expertise, ample is set aside for discussions and opportunities to collaboration.
We have invited 20 world renowned speakers in the focus areas of the symposium. The opportunity to bring this international community together has an enormous potential to advance research both in Sweden and abroad.
Researchers, clinicians and other interested parties are welcome to attend the symposium. The registration fee is 200 Euro and includes proceedings, lunches, coffe and conference dinner.
The Nobel Forum is a building designed exclusively for the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet. This is where the Nobel Committee announces the year's Nobel Laureates in Physiology or Medicine.
The Symposium is arranged by the Bernadotte laboratory at St. Eriks Eye Hospital and Karolinska Institutet. The organizing committee is headed by Professors Jan Ygge and Gunnar Lennerstrand.
